Manchester Civil Justice Center (Manchester, UK)

The Manchester Civil Justice Centre is located in Manchester, England. The Manchester County Court, District Registry of the High Court, the Magistrates' Family Courts, the district Probate Registry, and the Regional and Area Offices of the Court Service is all housed in this building. The building is 17 stories high and faces the Irwell River. It was designed by Denton Corker Marshall and Mott MacDonald. On the western side there is a gigantic 120,000 sq ft suspended glass wall. This is the largest in Europe. This building was completed in 2007.

Typeography

In this photo we had to create a photo from all type. We could use different fonts and sizes to accomplish this. I used lyrics from the song "Digital Love" by Daft Punk in this photo instead of using random thoughts.

Din Din Doggie Food Logo

In this assignment we had to design a logo for a dog food company. When we designed this we wanted to give them the freedom to add different flavors in the future. So we made a couple mockups of flavors they could do in the future and how the logo would work with them. We wanted to have a very flexible and simple logo.

Cherokee Jewelry Website Redesign

In this assignment we had to redesign the Cherokee Jewelry website. This was not a working website, it was only a mockup on photoshop. We learned to use color palettes, import new fonts, and how to layout a website more effectively.

Pokemon Deamscape

I made this picture to kind of show how big of an impact Pokemon had on mine and most kids childhood. Back in the day most traded, collect, and played Pokemon so it basically revolved around their world. Now in present time though it has been put on the back burners, more of a good memory. That is why i put the Pokemon world in his hand, because it is no longer something that consumes his life. From time to time though most have that urge to grab there old Pokemon red or blue and play one last time, or flip through some of there old cards. This is why I put the Charizard flying out of the sphere and into real life. Not sure if this really counts as a dreamscape but I figured its not something that could happen in real life.

Paintball Magazine Cover

In this assignment we were required to make a fake magazine cover using a picture we took. I took this photo with a Nikon D60 in my backyard, it is a photo of my younger brother. The idea for the magazine came from my brothers experiences with paintball.

Andy Warhol Noodles Cups

This is a project we did to test the effects in photoshop. It is suppose to be in the style of Andy Warhol but with our own twist. I picked a Ramon noodles cup for my picture.
